Job summary

St. Vincent de Paul CARES is seeking a Payroll Manager to oversee all payroll activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payment for employees in a non-profit setting.

The role requires coordinating with HR and finance, maintaining records, and handling benefits deductions while facilitating audits and grant reporting. A relevant degree and 2+ years of payroll experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting or related field.
• 2+ years of payroll experience, preferably in a non-profit or grant-funded environment.
• Payroll certification (e.g., FPC CPP or SHRM) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect and verify timekeeping data and payroll information.
• Process bi-weekly payroll for salaried and hourly employees.
• Maintain payroll records in accordance with policies and legal requirements.
• Lead payroll onboarding for new acquisitions and expansions.
• Assist with payroll tax reporting and audits.
