Kennedy Jenks is seeking a Payroll Manager in Portland, Oregon to oversee accurate, compliant payroll operations across our teams, functions, and business priorities. This role ensures multi-state processing, audits, and continuous process improvement to support timely pay.

You’ll collaborate with HR, Finance, and managers, leveraging HRIS and ERP systems to enhance workflows, accuracy, and data integrity while maintaining strong internal controls and documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive payroll administration experience.
• 2+ years in a Payroll Manager, Lead Payroll Specialist, or senior payroll role.
• Multi-state payroll processing and payroll tax compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accurate and timely multi-state payroll processing across the organization.
• Ensure payroll tax compliance and wage/hour requirements (FLSA and prevailing wage).
• Maintain payroll controls and reconcile payroll entries; investigate discrepancies.
