Job summary

Jobot seeks a Payroll Manager to lead all aspects of payroll operations for a healthcare organization. You will oversee processing, ensure regulatory compliance, and act as the payroll system expert, coordinating with HR, Finance, and IT to drive accuracy and improvements.

The role emphasizes leadership, system administration, and collaboration across departments to maintain strong internal controls and timely payroll delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive payroll experience
• Experience with UKG or a comparable enterprise payroll system
• Experience in a union environment
• Healthcare payroll experience is a plus
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payroll operations and ensure timely, accurate processing for all employees
• Process and review payroll transactions including wages, overtime, shift differentials, stipends, and other compensation
• Prepare payroll tax filings and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Reconcile payroll activity to the general ledger and maintain accurate records
• Serve as primary administrator for the payroll system and partner with IT for upgrades and data integrity
