The position is located in Brooklyn, NY, with onsite/hybrid work setup. A Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of payroll experience—preferably in nonprofit or multi-site settings—are required. UKG Ready experience is preferred.

Our Client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to oversee and administer all aspects of payroll processing across the organization. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll for salaried, hourly, and grant-funded employees while maintaining strong internal controls and payroll data integrity.
The Payroll Manager will work closely with Fiscal, Finance, and HR teams to manage payroll operations within a complex nonprofit environment. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of payroll laws and tax regulations, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to independently manage payroll processes while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
