Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Payroll Manager to lead end-to-end payroll for multiple states from our Fishers, IN office. You will own payroll and HRIS administration, ensuring accuracy, tax compliance, and timely wage payments.

The role emphasizes process improvement, collaboration with HR and Finance, and leveraging HRIS tools (ADP/UKG/Workday/Paycom/Ceridian) to optimize payroll operations and reporting. CPP preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of payroll experience, including leadership or management responsibilities.
• Experience with multi-state payroll processing, payroll taxes and compliance regulations.
• Advanced Excel and reporting skills with a process-improvement mindset.
• CPP certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multi-state employees.
• Serve as the primary administrator for payroll and HRIS systems.
• Ensure payroll accuracy, tax compliance, and timely wage payments.
• Generate payroll, labor, and compliance reporting for leadership.
• Manage payroll audits, reconciliations, garnishments, and year-end processing.
• Partner with HR and IT on HRIS enhancements, integrations, and system upgrades.
