COMMERCIAL CONTRACTING CORPORATION in Auburn Hills, MI, seeks a Payroll Manager to oversee union payroll processing across US locations, ensuring timely, accurate payroll, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This is an in-office role.

Responsibilities include auditing payroll docs, updating union pay scales, filing payroll taxes, maintaining records, and supervising a direct report. The ideal candidate has union payroll experience, strong CBA knowledge, and impeccable

• Good working knowledge of CBA rules, regulations, and prevailing wages.
• Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
• Ability to multi-task and work in high pressure environment.
• Strong organizational skills and very detail-oriented.

• Maintain accurate payroll records and employee payroll files.

• Prepare various payroll and management reports, journal entries, workers compensation, and reconcile quarterly payroll taxes.
• Prepare and file monthly, quarterly and yearly payroll taxes/940/941.
• Oversee accuracy of all garnishments and deductions.
• Respond to employee inquiries and requests regarding payroll matters.
• Certify payroll
• Manage direct report(s)
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned

JOB DESCRIPTION

TITLE: Payroll Manager

LOCATION: Auburn Hills, Michigan 48326

OBJECTIVE

The Payroll Manager is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of union employee payroll for all US work locations while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and requirements. This is an in-office position.

PAYROLL MANAGER KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

PAYROLL MANAGER CORE COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Required:
