Job summary

iSpot is seeking a Payroll Manager to lead end-to-end payroll operations in a fast-growing tech environment. You will own ADP-based processing, ensure multi-state tax compliance, and architect scalable, automated workflows while leveraging AI tools to boost efficiency.

Collaborate with HR, Legal, and the GL team to support audits and reporting. We offer equity as part of compensation, along with standard benefits and opportunities to influence the financial function’s strategic direction.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of payroll administration leadership, with ADP expertise
• Experience designing scalable payroll processes in a fast-growing tech environment
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations
• Proven problem-solver with analytical mindset and proactive approach
• Ambition to leverage AI/automation for real-time visibility
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle domestic payroll processing with ADP accuracy
• Direct payroll tax/compliance, multi-state registrations, tax notices
• Design scalable SOPs; move toward automated touchless processing
• Identify and deploy AI-driven tools for data validation and chat support
• Lead payroll as a high-touch internal advisory service
• Own ADP and HRIS system audits and configurations
• Collaborate with HR, Legal, and GL for data flow and audits
