Job summary

The Connecticut Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a Payroll Officer 1 to oversee payroll operations in Rocky Hill. Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience in complex clerical work in accounting or payroll.
• Two (2) years with payroll preparation as principal responsibility.
• Knowledge of state payroll policies and procedures.
• Considerable interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Supervisory ability.
• Current State of Connecticut employee with at least six (6) months full-time service.
