Job summary

BRABO is seeking a Payroll Implementation Specialist to lead new payroll clients from sale to service handoff. You will bridge Sales, Paylocity, and Brabo’s Payroll & HRIS team, ensuring accurate data, proper configuration, and timely go-lives across multiple implementations.

The role emphasizes client communication, meticulous validation of payroll data, and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver successful transitions to ongoing service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in payroll, HRIS, payroll implementation, client onboarding, or a related field preferred
• Experience with Paylocity or a comparable payroll/HRIS platform strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of payroll processing, taxes, deductions, and direct deposit
• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client implementations
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies in payroll and employee data
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable leading client meetings and training

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of new payroll implementations after sales, coordinating timelines and responsibilities
• Review orders and client requirements for completeness and accuracy
• Conduct welcome calls and set expectations; serve as primary Brabo contact during implementation
• Coordinate activity between client, Sales, Paylocity reps, and Brabo service teams
• Track items, address issues, and maintain documentation and status updates
• Ensure all steps are completed before release to ongoing service
• Review payroll tax information, EIN, state accounts, and pay schedules for accuracy
• Identify missing registrations and coordinate follow-up
• Configure system data and perform mock payroll reviews to catch discrepancies
• Train clients on Paylocity, payroll processing, and reports; support live payroll launches
• Coordinate HRIS modules rollout and required configurations with Paylocity resources
• Partner with Sales to reflect commitments and prepare accounts for transition to service team
