Job summary

Homebase is seeking a Project Lead to own the onboarding and payroll implementation for small businesses. You’ll gather data, coordinate with sales, and guide customers from kickoff to their first payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout the rollout.

You’ll train customers on Homebase Payroll, resolve regulatory questions, and partner with Product/Engineering to improve tooling while keeping Salesforce records clean and up to date. This is an onsite Denver role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in an Implementation, Onboarding, Payroll, or Project Management role at a SaaS company; payroll implementation experience preferred.
• Proven project management experience handling multiple client engagements.
• Advanced in Excel or Google Sheets; comfortable cleaning, reconciling large data sets.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payroll implementation from kickoff through first payroll run, maintaining timeline.
• Collect and reconcile complex customer data including entity details, demographics, and YTD records.
• Train customers on Homebase Payroll to ensure confident onboarding.
• Resolve payroll questions by researching regulations and troubleshooting with cross-functional partners.
• Collaborate with Sales to remove blockers and follow up with customers.
• Surface product feedback and collaborate with Product/Engineering to improve features.
• Maintain accurate Salesforce records throughout implementations.
• Collaborate in-office Monday through Thursday.
