Job summary

The YMCA of Central Maryland, Inc. is seeking a Payroll HRIS Specialist to support accurate payroll processing and maintain data integrity in Dayforce, coordinating payroll and HR responsibilities for the 2,000+ employees.

You will respond to payroll inquiries, support onboarding, ensure GL coding accuracy, and provide confidential service to internal stakeholders while upholding the Y's core values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting, HR or related field.
• Experience in accounting, payroll or HR environments is preferred.
• Strong numerical aptitude and data accuracy required.

Responsibilities

• Process timely Dayforce payroll updates with Payroll Manager for 2,000+ employees.
• Provide high-quality payroll service; respond to inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage Rapid! pay card process; troubleshoot and support associates.
• Complete HRIS onboarding tasks; set up profiles in Dayforce.
• Collaborate with Finance and managers to ensure accurate GL coding and locations.
• Backup Payroll Manager for supplemental payments and core payroll tasks.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and data security of payroll information.
