Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Crystal Springs, MS, is seeking an HR & Payroll Specialist to deliver accurate weekly payroll for 300+ employees, manage employee data, and support onboarding and recruiting coordination in a fast-paced environment.

You will help implement the ADP Time & Attendance upgrade from UKG Kronos, maintain confidentiality, and partner with HR and operations to resolve payroll inquiries while upholding compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of payroll experience in a high-volume or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with UKG Kronos and/or ADP Time & Attendance strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with Workday or other HRIS platforms is a plus.
• Strong proficiency with computer systems and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Lead weekly payroll processing for 300+ employees with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and reporting requirements.
• Support the successful transition from UKG Kronos to ADP Time & Attendance.
• Maintain accurate employee records, payroll data, and timekeeping information.
• Assist with full-cycle recruiting activities, from candidate sourcing through offer support.
• Coordinate interviews, onboarding activities, and new hire orientation programs.
• Partner with employees and leaders to resolve payroll and HR-related inquiries.
• Track recruiting and HR metrics to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
