medmix, a global leader in high-precision delivery devices, seeks a Payroll & HR Specialist to manage end‑to‑end payroll for our Atlanta and Salem sites and support HR operations including onboarding and benefits administration.

The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, highly organized, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment, ensuring compliance with federal and state laws while maintaining accurate employee records and delivering excellent HR service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2–5 years of experience in payroll processing, benefits administration, and HR support.
• Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations (FLSA, tax compliance, etc.).
• Experience with HRIS and payroll systems (ADP, SAP, Cornerstone).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Process full-cycle payroll (weekly/biweekly) for hourly and salaried employees.
• Administer benefits programs (medical, dental, vision, 401(k)).
• Maintain employee records in HRIS and support onboarding/offboarding.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Collaborate with finance on payroll reconciliation and audits.
