Job summary

GreenWaste Recovery, Inc. is seeking a temporary Payroll and HR Coordinator to support our HR team during a major HCM implementation. You will handle weekly payroll for about 1,000 employees and assist with data validation, testing, and process documentation.

The role emphasizes accuracy, deadlines, and collaboration with site supervisors. Prior experience with ADP/UKG and California wage rules is preferred; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in payroll processing or HR administration.
• Familiarity with California wage and hour requirements.
• Experience with HRIS or payroll platforms like ADP or UKG.

Responsibilities

• Process multi-site payroll for ~1,000 employees on a weekly/biweekly cycle.
• Audit payroll changes, timekeeping, and tax withholdings; respond to inquiries.
• Perform I-9 verification, E-Verify, and compliance reporting.
• Support HR administration and backup HR inbox/phone coverage.
• Assist with data migration and testing during the HCM implementation.
