Job summary

GreenWaste Recovery LLC is seeking a Payroll and HR Coordinator for a temporary, full-time role in San Jose, CA. You will manage weekly payroll processing for a large hourly workforce, verify data, and support HR transactions while assisting with the HCM system implementation.

The role requires strong accuracy, communication, and familiarity with California payroll rules. This is a hands-on position offering exposure to a live HRIS migration and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail with high-volume data entry and deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Experience with payroll processing and HR administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in multi-site payroll processing for a large workforce on a weekly/biweekly basis.
• Audit payroll changes, tax withholdings, and new hires.
• Process timekeeping discrepancies and adjust payroll as needed.
• Support HRIS data entry, recordkeeping, and audits.
• Participate in the migration to a new HCM platform and testing.
