Job summary

CG Oncology, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Payroll & Equity Accounting to lead end-to-end U.S. payroll across multiple states, handling base pay, incentives, and equity-related payments.

The role partners with the Director of Technical Accounting to ensure accurate payroll treatment and timely financial reporting. This hands-on leadership position emphasizes SOX controls, process improvements, and collaboration with HR, Finance, Legal, and external providers.

Qualifications

• Experience managing multi-state U.S. payroll operations.
• Track record of equity-related payroll and stock-based compensation.
• Public company/regulatory environment experience preferred.
• Strong data integrity and financial close discipline.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end US payroll processing for exempt and non-exempt employees.
• Manage equity-related payroll events and reporting.
• Prepare monthly payroll journal entries and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Legal and external partners.
• Maintain SOX controls and audit-ready documentation.
• Lead quarterly/year-end payroll activities.
