Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking a Payroll Director to lead payroll operations, manage a 10–15 person team, and shape the strategic direction of payroll services within Managed HR Services. The role requires deep payroll expertise and strong leadership in a remote environment to build scalable systems and client solutions.

You will oversee end-to-end service delivery, ensure accuracy and compliance across multi-state payroll, collaborate with ADP and Intuit integrations, and drive revenue growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; CPP preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive payroll experience with multi-state exposure.
• 3–5+ years of people management experience and strategic leadership.
• Experience with ADP platforms and Intuit is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead payroll ops and manage a 10–15 person team across projects.
• Oversee end-to-end service delivery, accuracy, and client satisfaction.
• Design scalable payroll processes and drive automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with technology partners to optimize integrations (ADP/Intuit).
