Job summary

New Mexico Department of Finance and Administration Central Payroll Bureau seeks a Data Control Manager in Santa Fe to supervise timely biweekly payroll processing for 24,000+ employees. You will oversee document submission, time and labor approvals, and data integrity within PeopleSoft HCM.

The ideal candidate has strong data discipline, payroll system expertise, and leadership skills to coordinate with agency HCM Administrators and drive process improvements for statewide payroll operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration required.
• Eight (8) years of directly related experience required.
• Any combination totaling twelve (12) years may substitute for education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Data Control to ensure biweekly payroll payments for 24,000+ employees.
• Run queries in PeopleSoft HCM to clear time and labor exceptions and approve timesheets.
• Ensure payroll documents are correctly entered into PeopleSoft HCM prior to on-cycle payroll processing.
• Test upgrades in PeopleSoft HCM and provide support to staff and state agencies.
