Job summary

Salsa is seeking a payroll support guru to educate and enable our customers and platform partners on US payroll. You will be a first responder for time‑sensitive questions, build a scalable knowledge base, and run live webinars with client teams to improve payroll accuracy.

You’ll partner with product and engineering to simplify processes, deliver high‑quality support, and help scale our US payroll knowledge base for future team members across the US and Canada.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of US payroll provider experience in a support role.
• Strong written communication and ability to explain payroll clearly.
• Experience with AI tools to report insights or generate materials.
• Data manipulation in Excel/Google Sheets with complex formulas.
• Comfort in a startup environment and autonomous work style.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level US payroll support and address intricate payroll issues.
• Own partner relationships and deliver proactive education and support.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure payroll knowledge is integrated.
• Be the product and payroll expert across the platform and educate others.
• Lead trainings or webinars and mentor partner teams as needed.
• Audit processes and drive scalable CX and payroll ops improvements.
• Work with product/engineering to improve payroll integration.
