Job summary

Care Advantage is a Richmond-based home health agency that values its caregivers and staff. We seek a remote Payroll Coordinator to manage weekly payroll activities, review caregiver timesheets, and ensure accurate, on-time payments. You will report to the Corporate Payroll Manager and uphold the I CARE values in daily tasks.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience in payroll processing or payroll administration.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent customer service skills are essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Preferred: experience with ADP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Review and sort caregiver timesheets for payroll processing.
  • Enter omitted or miscellaneous transactions to be paid in the current week, including mileage, bonuses, and more.
  • Upload pay data batches to payroll software for further processing.
  • Void, reissue, and process additional payroll checks as necessary.
  • Complete wage verifications, employee updates, and other payroll-related activities.
  • Input, track, and return employee garnishments.
  • Arrange delivery of payroll and other mail going to our branch offices.
  • Support other payroll responsibilities as needed.

About the Role

As our remote Payroll Coordinator, you'll be a key member of our accounting office staff, responsible for our weekly payroll activities. You'll report directly to the Corporate Payroll Manager, following all Federal, State, Local, and Company policies and regulations. You'll also champion our I CARE values, which guide how we work every day.

Work Environment

This is a remote position. You should be able to sit, stand, squat, twist, and turn from time to time, and lift a minimum of 10 pounds.
