Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Payroll Coordinator in Bolingbrook, IL to perform administrative payroll tasks, process select pay groups, and support the payroll team with timely, confidential responses to inquiries.

The role emphasizes customer service to associates and partners, collaboration across the payroll/finance groups, and adherence to payroll regulations. Travel to the Bolingbrook office is required five days per week for portions of each day.

Qualifications

• 2-year Associates degree preferred.
• General understanding of the payroll end to end process.
• Familiarity with payroll rules and regulations.
• ADP, ECP and UKG knowledge helpful.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Self-motivated and independent problem solving ability.
• Strong attention to detail and audit skills.
• Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite products.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with processing payroll on a weekly basis, including running reports and researching missing time-card punches.
• Process some pay groups, typically smaller in size.
• Research and respond to garnishment related requests in a timely manner.
• Respond to time-sensitive inquiries from business partners, ADP and other agencies; follow up on issues.
• Assist with data gathering, retrieve documents and files as needed.
• Prepare, edit, and update payroll reports and spreadsheets.
• Create communications regarding payroll information and due dates for distribution to field and corporate associates.
• Work with ADP to set up new stores to ensure checks and pay cards go to the correct address.
