Job summary

The City of North Las Vegas is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to manage complex payroll functions, ensure accuracy, and maintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations and labor agreements. This role will report to the Payroll Manager and act as a liaison to Human Resources and Finance, providing guidance, problem resolution, and process improvement support.

ESSENTIAL INFORMATION

• Pay Considerations – The salary range for the position is 63,534.93 - 101,217.37. Starting salary is dependent on education, qualifications, and experience.
• Work Schedule – This position is scheduled to work 4 days per week, 9 hours per day, (36 hour work week)Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 5:00pm.

THE ROLE

Performs a variety of specialized duties in the coordination, administration and performance of citywide payroll systems.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate, timely payroll processing while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, system enhancements, and cross-training efforts within the payroll function.
