Bucks County Intermediate Unit is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator to manage timely and accurate payroll processing for the IU and partnering districts. This role requires strong knowledge of payroll regulations and precise data handling.
Under supervision, you will coordinate semi-monthly payroll across employee categories, ensure accurate deductions, and maintain payroll software knowledge while supporting on-site district needs.
This position is designated as Support: Level 13. The salary range begins at $52,160 and can increase based upon education and relevant experience.
Under general direction from the Supervisor of Payroll, the Payroll Coordinator performs tasks involved in the timely, accurate, and effective processing of payroll disbursements for the Intermediate Unit. This position may assist school districts and technical schools with payroll guidance and/or processing, along with verifying data entry. This position requires an extremely detail-oriented individual with significant knowledge of payroll functions, including state and federal regulations.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

This is a full-time, 260-day calendar position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. Hours of work are from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on-site. Occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel will be required to provide support to districts and/or CTCs on-site as needed.
Citizenship or work authorization to work in the United States required.
