Bucks IU in Doylestown, PA seeks a Payroll Coordinator to ensure timely, accurate payroll disbursements for the Intermediate Unit. Under supervision, you will handle semi-monthly payroll for district staff, verify data, and stay compliant with state and federal regulations.
The role requires 3–5 years of payroll experience, a high school diploma (associate degree preferred), strong MS Office skills, and the ability to work independently.
This position is designated as Support: Level 13. The salary range begins at $52,160 and can increase based upon education and relevant experience.
Under general direction from the Supervisor of Payroll, the Payroll Coordinator performs tasks involved in the timely, accurate, and effective processing of payroll disbursements for the Intermediate Unit. This position may assist school districts and technical schools with payroll guidance and/or processing, along with verifying data entry. This position requires an extremely detail-oriented individual with significant knowledge of payroll functions, including state and federal regulations.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands. The employee is frequently required to walk; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. This is a full-time, 260-day calendar position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. Hours of work are from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on-site. Occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel will be required to provide support to districts and/or CTCs on-site as needed.
