Job summary

TalentBridge is seeking a Payroll Specialist II to manage accurate, compliant payroll processing for biweekly cycles across a multi-office, project-based workforce. The role collaborates with HR, Accounting, and project teams to align time, pay, and project costs.

The position emphasizes identifying process gaps, implementing fixes, and performing basic payroll data analysis to support payroll accuracy and timely releases.

Qualifications

• Manages payroll processing for biweekly cycles and ensures accuracy.
• Applies federal, state, local wage and tax requirements to payroll transactions.
• Identifies gaps in processes and implements fixes.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for assigned cycles including regular, overtime, PTO, bonuses, per diem, and other earnings.
• Validate timesheet and project charge code data before cutoff; follow up on missing or inconsistent entries.
• Process new hires, terminations, rate changes, and final pay per state rules.
• Apply deductions including garnishments and levies per plan terms.
• Complete pre- and post-payroll audits; document and correct variances.
• Process off-cycle payments, retro pay, and multi-state withholding.
