Job summary

Leader in Logistics is seeking a payroll administrator responsible for accurate preparation, documentation, distribution and reconciliation of payroll, and administration of the payroll system. You will review pay calculations and deductions for accuracy, and stay current with payroll legislation affecting city, state, local and federal rules.

You will prepare required tax filings and reporting, coordinate payroll processing with an outside service provider when needed, respond to paychecks

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of city, state, and federal payroll laws.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, document, distribute and reconcile payroll; administer payroll system.
• Review pay calculations and deductions for accuracy.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation affecting city, state, provincial, local and federal levels.
• Prepare needed tax filings and other reporting.
• Coordinate payroll processing with outside service provider when needed.
• Respond to inquiries regarding paychecks or payroll reporting; escalate issues promptly.
