Qualifications

• Two years of recent experience in payroll processing and reporting.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or must obtain within 12 months of appointment.
• Knowledge of payroll tax laws and federal/state/local requirements.

Responsibilities

• Creates and maintains employee payroll records and master files.
• Processes payroll, deductions, taxes, and withholdings for all employees.
• Audits and balances payroll to financial system; responds to payroll inquiries.
