Rieth-Riley Construction Co. is seeking an accounting professional to support payroll and general accounting functions in our Indianapolis area office.

You will process timecards, assist with payroll, and maintain essential records to ensure accurate financial reporting. The role requires 1–2 years in general accounting, experience with union payroll, and strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• One to two years of experience in general accounting.
• Experience with union payroll.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Self-motivated; ability to work independently.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• High degree of attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Process daily timecards in field and accounting system, onboarding for union employees.
• Process monthly union fringe reports and verify payroll.
• Maintain I-9 and W-4 forms and related payroll paperwork.
• Update union employee dues and check-off information.
• Process and pay union over-scale wages after approvals.
• Coordinate paperwork flow with other office staff for Daily Cost reports.
• Maintain DOT files and input weekly odometer readings for reports.
• Maintain ESOP Vacation and Sick time records.
• Show safety videos and comply with federal regulations.
• Work closely with Superintendents and Area Manager on union issues.
• Enter weekly equipment hours from Equipment Manager.
