Industrial Electric, Inc. is seeking a Union Payroll Accountant to join our Indianapolis team. This full-time, onsite role focuses on accurate union payroll, ensuring hours, classifications, and pay rates adhere to procedures and deadlines.

Responsibilities include collecting timesheets, uploading data, verifying details, processing payroll checks and ACH payments, and maintaining employee records. Candidates should have 2+ years payroll experience, union payroll experience preferred, and solid

Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll experience.
• Union payroll experience preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet recurring payroll deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process union payroll accurately and on time, ensuring hours, classifications, pay rates, and records comply with procedures and deadlines.
• Collect Excel-based timesheets from job sites and import into payroll system using established procedures.
• Review, verify, and correct employee hours, union classifications, and pay rates.
• Print, sort, and distribute payroll checks; initiate ACH payments.
• Maintain accurate employee records (W-4s, state withholdings, I-9s) and handle confidential information.
• Enter and process accounts payable for union payments.
