Abode Services seeks a Payroll Clerk to support Alameda County programs. You’ll process full-cycle payroll, employee reimbursements, and payroll-related reporting, while delivering reliable payroll support and partnering with agency colleagues.
The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/business and have at least 2 years of payroll experience, with strong knowledge of payroll laws and proficiency in Intacct and Paylocity, plus Excel.
Abode, one of the largest and most effective nonprofits working to end homelessness in the Bay Area, is seeking a Payroll Clerk for our programs in Alameda County.
About The Role : The Payroll Clerk will be responsible for assisting payroll specialists process the full cycle payroll and payroll-related transactions, employee reimbursements, and reporting. The Payroll Clerk will also support payroll specialists, ensure the accuracy of payroll transactions, provide strong customer service to payroll inquiries, and collaboratively engage business partners within the agency.
