Job summary

InProduction, Inc. is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Specialist to manage payroll for 500+ employees across multiple states and administer benefit programs including 401(k). The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and customer service to employees regarding pay and deductions.

The candidate will process bi-weekly and weekly payroll, maintain records, and ensure timely tax reporting and year-end tasks while upholding confidentiality and data integrity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of payroll, HRIS and benefits experience.
• Experience with Paychex or similar payroll software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly and weekly payroll for 500+ employees in a multi-state environment.
• Administer enrollments and terminations for benefits and 401(k).
• Maintain benefit records, COBRA enrollments, and payroll data accuracy.
• Prepare payroll and benefits reports and reconcile payroll items to GL.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws.
