Qualifications

• Hands-on payroll processing and benefits administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of federal and Maryland wage-and-hour requirements.
• Experience with hourly, multi-shift payroll and deductions.
• Detail-oriented with ability to meet payroll deadlines.
• Excellent communication with employees and managers.
• Proficient with Excel, Word, and payroll/HRIS systems.

Responsibilities

• Own recurring payroll processing and benefits administration for a multi-shift workforce.
• Review timecards, payroll changes, enrollments, deductions, and reconciliations.
• Provide front-office and administrative coverage for HR team.
• Administer benefits including enrollments and open enrollment.
• Coordinate with Talent Acquisition on new hires data.
• Answer employee questions and escalate as needed.
• Maintain payroll and benefit records and assist audits.
