Job summary

CFS is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Specialist in Tampa, FL to own critical payroll and benefits processes and provide accurate, timely support to employees and a cross-functional team.

You’ll partner with HR, Accounting, and leadership to maintain records, ensure compliance, and drive process improvements, with a competitive compensation package and clear career growth in a well-established organization.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of payroll and benefits administration experience.
• Experience with payroll systems and benefits platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to analyze issues and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and on schedule in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Perform payroll audits, reconciliations, and reporting to maintain accuracy.
• Administer employee benefits programs (enrollments, status changes, terminations, open enrollment).
• Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll and benefits questions.
• Collaborate with HR and Accounting to maintain records and support process improvements.
