Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years in payroll, benefits administration, HR operations, or related field.
• Experience processing payroll in an HRIS/payroll system; Paylocity preferred.
• Strong understanding of payroll processes, deductions, taxes, and reporting.
• Experience administering employee benefit programs.
• Attention to detail and accuracy; strong organization and time management.
• Excellent communication and customer service; discretion with confidential data.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with HR, Finance, and managers.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet payroll deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly payroll accurately and on time for employees across locations.
• Review payroll data for hours, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and changes.
• Audit payroll info and identify discrepancies before finalizing payroll.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation.
• Process changes including new hires, promotions, and terminations.
• Respond to employee questions regarding pay, deductions, and withholdings.
• Partner with Finance to reconcile payroll-related reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2s and reporting.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll requirements.
• Administer employee benefits programs and enrollment processes.
• Coordinate benefit changes due to life events and terminations.
