Job summary

ZealoTech People is seeking a skilled payroll administrator to manage compensation, payroll processing, and benefits for local employees in Ohio. You will coordinate with staffing agencies, ensure timely tax filings, and handle HR tasks such as I-9 verification and audits.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 1–5+ years of U.S. payroll experience, with proficiency in payroll software and bilingual English/Korean communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related discipline required.
• 1 to 5+ years of experience in U.S. local payroll and benefits administration.
• Advanced proficiency in payroll software systems; deep understanding of shift rotations and overtime pay calculations.
• Bilingual communication capability in English and Korean.

Responsibilities

• Compensation structure setup and operation.
• Direct-hire employee compensation administration.
• Staffing agency workforce timekeeping management and invoice cost verification.
• Manage payroll processing and tax filings for locally hired employees.
• Cross-verify staffing agency cost invoices and process payments.
• Administer enrollment and ongoing operations for employee benefit programs.
• General HR administrative duties: Form I-9 verification, document preparation for accounting and labor audits, contract and document management, and HRIS updates.
