Job summary

Obrela is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Officer to develop policies for compensation and benefits while ensuring compliance with U.S. and local regulations. You will oversee payroll preparation, respond to queries, and coordinate salary reviews across Obrela's operations.

Ideal candidate has 5+ years in payroll/benefits, a Bachelor's in HR or related field, and strong Excel reporting skills. Proficiency in Greek and English is an asset for multi-cultural teams, with a focus on confidentiality and

Qualifications

• 5+ years in payroll/benefits administration
• Bachelor's degree in HR/Business/Accounting or related field
• Knowledge of payroll software (Pylon) and HRMS reporting
• Knowledge of labor laws and payroll taxation
• Confidentiality and strong organizational skills
• Fluent in Greek and English; strong communication

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll preparation and processing accurately and timely
• Handle payroll-related queries and ensure regulatory compliance
• Oversee compensation across Obrela presence, including third parties
• Design and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits programs
• Manage annual salary reviews and bonus schemes
• Conduct regular compensation benchmarking and participate in salary surveys
• Prepare payroll tax filings and related reports
• Analyze payroll data to ensure cost-effectiveness
• Prepare regular reports for senior management regarding payroll, compensation, and benefits expenditures
