TW Constructors is seeking a Payroll and Benefits Specialist to join our accounting team in St. Louis, MO.

You will manage weekly payroll for union and non-union staff across multiple entities, administer benefit enrollments, and ensure accurate tax withholdings and reporting. This role requires integrity, confidentiality, and high attention to detail, with 2–5 years of payroll experience in construction preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years payroll experience required.
• Experience with union and non-union payroll in construction.
• Experience with benefit enrollments and payroll deductions preferred.
• Experience with certified payroll reports required.
• Strong knowledge of payroll, taxes, and accounting basics.

Responsibilities

• Review timesheets and process weekly payroll for multiple companies.
• Calculate wages, taxes, garnishments, and deductions.
• Prepare certified payroll reports.
• Respond to employee questions on payroll and benefits.
• Handle new-hire enrollments, life events, and terminations.
• Ensure accurate benefit deductions and tax withholdings.
• Coordinate with HR and benefit providers to resolve discrepancies.
• Support open enrollment and 401(k) administration.
• Prepare monthly union and payroll tax reports.
• Maintain confidential payroll, tax, and benefits records.
