Job summary

LHH US is seeking a Payroll Specialist to support payroll operations across multiple business units in Missouri. The role processes payroll for about 400 employees, including union payroll, and works closely with payroll and accounting leadership to ensure accuracy and compliance.

The ideal candidate has construction payroll experience, strong attention to detail, and a collaborative, hands-on approach in a fully onsite environment. Relevant ERP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience processing union payroll and construction payroll.
• In-house, full-cycle payroll processing experience required.
• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly/bi-weekly payroll for ~400 employees.
• Manage union payroll and ensure labor agreement compliance.
• Maintain accurate employee data and payroll records.
• Handle deductions, garnishments, benefits and tax withholdings.
• Investigate payroll discrepancies and resolve timely.
• Collaborate with accounting and operations for accuracy.
• Assist with payroll reporting and audits as needed.
• Support payroll across multiple business entities.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
