Job summary

InProduction, Inc. is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Specialist to administer payroll and benefits for 500+ employees across multiple states.

You will ensure accurate hours, on-time pay, and compliance with payroll tax reporting, benefits enrollment, and 401(k) administration. Responsibilities include processing bi-weekly and weekly payroll, maintaining records, COBRA enrollments, year-end reporting, and providing prompt service to employees while keeping information confidential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 7+ years of relevant payroll/benefits experience considered in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with multi-state payroll, HRIS, and benefits administration.
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly and weekly payroll for 500+ employees in a multi-state environment.
• Administer benefit programs, enrollments, terminations, and 401k administration.
• Maintain benefit and payroll records; ensure timely premium remittance.
• Administer COBRA enrollments/changes and perform year-end payroll reporting.
• Provide prompt, friendly service to employees with payroll questions.
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll data and ensure compliance with laws.
