Job summary

DCTA in Denton, TX is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Administrator to lead payroll operations, benefits administration, and related compliance for employees of the agency. The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and adherence to wage laws.

Under the Senior Manager of Human Resources, you will ensure accurate biweekly payroll, year-end processing, tax reporting, ACA compliance, and open enrollment, while maintaining strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Five years of progressive payroll experience including full-cycle processing.
• Experience administering employee benefits programs.
• Advanced knowledge of wage/hour laws and ACA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead biweekly payroll processing and internal controls.
• Prepare and file quarterly/annual payroll tax reporting.
• Oversee benefits administration and open enrollment.
• Audit payroll data and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate year-end processes (W-2) and system updates.
