Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited High School/GED program.
• Four (4) years payroll work experience or 60 hours from an accredited college or university in a related field or a combination of the two.
• Skilled in standard software applications; ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, record and reconcile payroll transactions and generate reports.
• Review and process benefits, garnishments, and vendor payments for accuracy.
• Enter and maintain employee records in HRMS and maintain Access databases.
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies; respond to inquiries from departments and public.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to county policies.
