Job summary

Teaching Strategies is seeking a Senior Manager, Benefits and People Operations in Denton, TX to oversee benefits administration, HRIS, and people analytics. You will partner with brokers and vendors, manage vendor relationships, and ensure compliant, employee-focused operations across benefits, payroll, and reporting.

The role requires 5–7 years in benefits and People Operations, leadership experience, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of progressive benefits and People Operations experience.
• 5+ years overseeing employee benefit programs.
• Previous manager experience.
• Experience managing health and retirement plans and vendor relationships.
• Experience administering self-funded medical plans.
• Experience working with HRIS systems and employee data management.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing complex employee issues with professionalism and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day administration of health and welfare programs (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA/HSA, retirement).
• Lead benefits program operations, including renewals, open enrollment, and vendor relations.
• Partner with brokers, vendors, and internal teams for competitive benefits offerings and compliant administration.
• Maintain HRIS configurations, data integrity, and reporting workflows.
• Support payroll, finance, and compensation through data insights and process improvements.
• Develop SOPs and drive process improvements across People Operations.
