Job summary

Pasona Inc. is seeking an HR Generalist II to oversee payroll processing, benefits administration, and related HR compliance in Franklin, KY. The role demands ADP proficiency, confidentiality, and strong attention to detail.

You will handle open enrollment, COBRA, FMLA, and reporting while supporting employee relations and engagement initiatives. Local Kentucky knowledge is highly prioritized, with full-time onsite work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field is required.
• 1–2 years of hands-on payroll and benefits administration experience.
• Practical experience using ADP payroll systems.
• Strong knowledge of Kentucky employment laws and payroll compliance; Kentucky-based HR experience strongly desired.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros).
• Strong mathematical, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and confidentiality practices.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Process accurate, timely biweekly and monthly payroll using ADP and prepare accounting reports.
• Administer medical, dental, vision, life, and supplemental insurance benefits, including open enrollment.
• Manage COBRA, FMLA, short-term disability, leave payments, and Health Savings Accounts (HSA).
• Reconcile monthly insurance billing, payroll deductions, garnishments, and child support orders.
• Maintain payroll, benefits, attendance, and confidential employee records in HRIS.
• Prepare payroll and benefits reports for management and corporate reporting.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Kentucky and federal payroll and employment regulations.
• Support employee relations, investigations, HR training, and engagement initiatives.
• Administer attendance bonuses, service awards, and unemployment insurance claims.
• Address employee payroll and benefits inquiries professionally and promptly.
