Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and payroll reporting tools.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Process full-cycle payroll using ADP for a multi-state employee population, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Review, validate, and reconcile timekeeping data, payroll inputs, and reports prior to submission.
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, tax changes, and direct deposit information.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws, including wage and hour regulations and multi-state tax requirements.
  • Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and payroll adjustments.
  • Process garnishments, levies, and other required withholdings accurately.
  • Reconcile payroll data, generate reports, and assist with audits as needed.
  • Partner with HR and accounting to resolve payroll discrepancies and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Respond to employee payroll-related inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support payroll-related reporting, including tax filings, W-2s, and other compliance documentation.

Overview

LHH is looking for a part-time, experienced payroll specialist for a client in Northern Kentucky. This part-time Payroll Specialist position supports a multi-state, multi-location organization with approximately 500 employees. This role is responsible for accurate and timely payroll processing using ADP and requires a strong understanding of payroll compliance, tax regulations, and high-volume payroll environments. The schedule consists of full days on Monday and Tuesday, working fully on-site in Florence, Kentucky. This position will pay between $28 and $35 per hour.

Responsibilities
  • Process full-cycle payroll using ADP for a multi-state employee population, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
