Care Initiatives is seeking a Benefits & Payroll Manager to join our administrative team across more than 40 skilled nursing communities in Iowa. This full-time role oversees payroll processing, administers benefits, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports onboarding and payroll setup.

The position requires strong communication, attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. We offer competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, tuition reimbursement, and a digital wallet pay

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
• Experience or training in payroll, record keeping and administrative skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll processing and ensure pay accuracy.
• Administer employee benefits and provide team member support.
• Ensure compliance with payroll and employment regulations.
• Assist with onboarding, payroll setup, and employee records.
• Prepare reports and assist with labor tracking, audits, and payroll reconciliation.
