Job summary

The Payroll & Insurance Analyst I at the Teachers' Retirement System of Illinois provides accounting and administrative support to the Payroll and Insurance Department. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, education, communications, or related field (or 2 years progressive responsibility in related field without degree).
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written correspondence.
• Ability to analyze and interpret data and work in multiple systems simultaneously.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and commitment to quality.
• Preferred experience with pensions, benefits, or employee relations.
