Job summary

Focus Search LLC in Seattle is recruiting a Staff Payroll Accountant for a large global logistics company. This contract role offers potential to move to permanent, and will support payroll and benefits accounting, prepare journal entries, and assist with audits.

You will reconcile balance sheet accounts, analyze variances, ensure compliance with payroll tax laws and GAAP standards, and contribute to process improvements and mentorship within the finance team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of GL accounting experience, with payroll/benefits exposure preferred.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP concepts.
• Experience with large ERP systems (Oracle, SAP or Dynamics) preferred.
