Sofitel Washington DC Lafayette Square is seeking a Staff Accountant to manage Accounts Receivable and payroll integrity. You will ensure accurate payroll processing, generate essential financial reports, and support group billing and event invoicing.

The ideal candidate brings payroll experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with Reservations, Sales, Catering and Banquets teams. This role requires flexibility, confidentiality, and attention to detail.

Formación

• Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills; able to prioritize in a fast-paced hotel environment.
• Experience in a similar payroll/Accounts Receivable role is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Process bi-weekly payroll and collect supporting documentation.
• Generate accurate reports including labor and month-end closing.
• Maintain confidentiality with all payroll information.
• Assist with billing for groups, events, and catering invoices.
• Coordinate with Reservations, Sales, Catering, and Banquets teams as needed.
• Support month-end tasks and other duties as assigned.
