LHH Recruitment Solutions is collaborating with a client in Colerain Township, Ohio to hire a Payroll & Accounts Payable Clerk. This role focuses on processing payroll and managing accounts payable with high accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have 3–4 years of payroll and AP experience, proficiency in Excel and accounting software, and a strong eye for detail. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers competitive pay and benefits support.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of payroll and accounts payable experience required.
• Experience processing payroll for multiple employees in a high-volume environment.
• Strong understanding of payroll procedures, taxes, and deductions.
• Experience with invoice processing, vendor management, and account reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll on a weekly, bi-weekly, or semi-monthly schedule.
• Review time records for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain payroll records and respond to payroll inquiries.
• Verify payroll deductions, benefits, and tax withholdings.
• Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
• Match invoices to POs and supporting docs.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accounts payable records and documentation.
• Assist with month-end close and reconciliations.
• Communicate payment issues with vendors and departments.
• Generate payroll and AP reports as needed.
