Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Payroll and Benefits Coordinator in Denver for a hybrid role. You will own semimonthly payroll processing and oversee benefits administration during an HRIS transition, including iSolved to HiBob implementation for a nonprofit client.

You will collaborate with HR leadership, ensure data accuracy, and support onboarding during organizational growth. This hands-on role offers responsibility, ownership, and exposure to HRIS projects and acquisitions.

Qualifications

• Experience independently managing payroll and benefits within a small or midsize organization.
• Hands-on experience with semimonthly payroll processing.
• Experience auditing payroll, benefits, PTO, timekeeping, or HRIS data.
• Working knowledge of Excel and the ability to review, organize, and analyze payroll or HRIS reports.
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership.

Responsibilities

• Own semimonthly payroll processing from start to finish, including auditing reports and resolving discrepancies.
• Maintain and validate payroll, benefits, PTO, timekeeping, and employee information throughout the HRIS transition.
• Review and audit benefits data to ensure employee records are accurate in HiBob.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions related to payroll, benefits, timecards, PTO, and system changes.
• Help ensure accurate employee data and smooth processes during growth and transition.

Salary: $60,000-$70,000 annually

This Payroll and Benefits Coordinator role offers the chance to take responsibility for key payroll and benefits functions while playing an important part in an HRIS implementation and employee acquisition for on of our top clients at a growing nonprofit organization.

What You'll Be Doing
